Honor Medical Staffing was founded in 1985 to be a high quality partner to hospitals, medical groups, and other entities seeking physician talent. Over the years, Honor entered the locum tenens business, and expanded its service offering. Today, the company provides both locum tenens and permanent staffing, and covers physicians, CRNAs, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners. Honor is headquartered in Southfield, Michigan, but provides services across the country.

Leadership

Langston Jones is the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company. He is the managing member of Project 42 Capital, LLC, and a seasoned executive with over 25 years of experience across the spectrum of organizational scale, from startup to Fortune 1000. Mr. Jones was previously a principal at Azure Insights, LLC, an independent consulting firm. He is a former Vice President at Next Day Gourmet, a division of US Foods. At Next Day Gourmet, he led the Marketing, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, and E-commerce groups. Earlier in his career, Mr. Jones was a consultant at Bain and Company, where he completed engagements for several technology companies and due diligence assignments in support of venture capital and leveraged buyout firms.  Mr. Jones is a graduate of Harvard College, and holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar.

B. Franklin Phillips serves as the President of Honor Medical Staffing. Prior to joining Honor, Mr. Phillips was President of Medical Doctor Associates, the locum tenens division of Cross Country Healthcare. Earlier in his career, he was the founder and President of Weatherby Healthcare, now a CHG Company. As an accomplished executive with nearly 28 years of experience in the locum tenens industry, Mr. Phillips has published and contributed to industry related articles in multiple publications. He also served as a past President of NALTO (National Association of Locum Tenens Organizations). Mr. Phillips was a charter member of the association also served as a member of its Board of Directors as well as several committees. Mr. Phillips is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Business. He resides with his wife of 34 years, and is the father of two sons as well as a proud grandfather. In his off time, he is an avid cyclist, photographer and enjoys volunteering in his community.
